Yo apoyo a Barack Obama y votaré por él, estas son mis razones:

-I support and will vote for Barack Obama and these are my reasons for doing so:

Barack Obama fue líder en el debate sobre inmigración mas reciente. Presionando al Congreso para equilibrar la reforma de inmigración al buscar una solución en común. Presentó modificaciones a las leyes para que sea una prioridad el que las familias de inmigrantes se mantengan unidas y que los que contratan a los inmigrantes indocumentados se hagan responsables.

Obama se aunó al Republicano Luis Gutierrez para presentar La Ley de Promoción de la Ciudadanía para asegurarse que los costos de los trámites fueran razonables y justos. Y también en El Senado, Obama presento legislatura para mejorar la rapidez con la que el FBI revisa los antecedentes de las personas que meten su solicitud.

-Barack Obama was a leader in The Immigration Reform most recent debate. He put pressure in Congress in order to balance it and to find a common resolution. He made Amendments to the laws to make it a priority that the immigrant families stay together and to make the people that hire undocumented workers accountable.

Obama joined in with Republican Luis Gutierrez to present The Law Promoting Citizenship by lowering filing costs, making them more affordable and fair.

In the senate he also brought legislature to improve the speedup record checks taken by the FBI.

El valor de la contribución de los trabajadores inmigrantes es algo palpable a nivel Nacional y no solo en los estados fronterizos y Barack Obama, siendo hijo de un inmigrante Africano y de una mezcla de razas entiende mejor que ningún otro candidato los asuntos de racismo, intimidación y dificultades que enfrentan los inmigrantes.

-The value of the contribution that Immigrant workers have in our economy is tangible through out the Country and not only in the border states. Barack Obama being a son of an African Immigrant and the blending of two races understands better than any candidate the issues related to: racism, intimidation and the difficulties immigrants face.

El plan de Barack Obama incluye el reformar las leyes de inmigración en su primer año de presidente; de manera que se disminuya la burocracia y 12 millones de inmigrantes indocumentados puedan tramitar su ciudadanía.

Al disminuir la burocracia, el tiempo de espera para la tramitación de documentos será mucho más corta.

Barack no considera que las redadas hayan ayudado en nada y cree que el separar a las familias es inhumano y quiere eliminarlo.

Aunque Obama quiere preservar la integridad de nuestras fronteras, al retirar los incentivos para entrar a este país, quiere que la gente deje de esconderse y que puedan comenzar a pagar impuestos, multas que deban, aprender Ingles e iniciar el proceso de su legalización como ciudadanos. Al aprender el Ingles podrán saber cuales son sus derechos y responsabilidades civiles.

Obama quiere establecer una relación de contribución con México para promover su desarrollo económico y de esta manera limitar la cantidad de inmigrantes que vengan a este país.

Barack quiere que se haga responsables a los dueños de negocios que contratan a los inmigrantes ilegales para evitar abusos y promover el que se legalice su situacion. Aunque este es un tema de importancia no es nada sencillo y hay que verlo de manera global y tener conocimiento y entendimiento de que es lo que lleva a que y como poder mejorar la situación en general.

-Barack Obama wants to implement Immigration Reform in his first year as president. Diminishing the bureaucracy and allowing 12 million of undocumented workers to get their citizenship. By diminishing the bureaucracy, it would make the process shorter.

Barack doesn’t believe that the raids have been effective and believes that separating families is inhumane and cannot be allowed.

Though Obama wants to preserve the integrity of our borders by diminishing the incentives that bring people here, he wants people to come out of the shadows, and start paying taxes & fines and to initiate their citizenship process. Obama believes that by learning English citizens can learn about their civil rights and responsibilities.

Obama wants to establish a relationship with Mexico to contribute with and promote its economy and therefore limit the influx of immigrants.

Barack wants to hold business owners responsible and accountable for hiring undocumented workers, and to avoid abuses and exploitation, and promote legalization.

Although this is an important issue it is not a simple one and we have to approach it from a global point of view. We need a knowledgeable and and more accurate understanding of where it comes from so that the situation at large can be corrected and improved.

Aparte de esto, el plan de Barack Obama para la comunidad Hispana incluye:

• -Un plan económico de emergencia en donde al pincipio forzará a las compañías petroleras a que paguen a las familias para ayudar a que puedan cubrir gastos de alimentos, gasolina etc.

• -Invertir 5 billones de dólares para prevenir el recorte de empleos, promover educación, seguro de salud, vivienda y costos de calefacción y aislantes para los hogares de miles de familias. El mejoramiento de carreteras puentes y mantenimiento de escuelas.

• -Un plan de ayuda para las familias de clase media con un nuevo código de impuestos para reducir los pagos.

• -Ofrecer oportunidades de que los hispanos asistan a la universidad por medio de otros incentivos de impuestos

• -Ayuda para el pago de guardería con un reembolso del 50%.

• -Hacer tangible el tener seguro medico cobrándoles a las compañías farmacéuticas para así rebajar los precios del seguro y que nadie se quede sin cobertura.

• -Costos bajos para los giros o envíos de dinero a México Etc.

-On top of that, Barack Obama’s Plan for The Latin/Hispanic Community includes:

• -An emergency economic plan where at first he will force Oil companies to pay families and individuals to help them pay for their gas, food etc.

• -Invest 5 billion dollars to prevent job cuts, promote education, health care, housing and heating weatherization costs for families.

• -Improvements and maintenance of bridges roads and schools.

• -A new tax code for middle class families so they can pay fewer taxes.

• -Opportunities for the Hispanic students that want to attend College with reduction of tuition and incentives to the families to cover their cost each year.

• -50% reimbursement for child care costs.

• -Making feasible purchasing medical insurance by charging drug companies so that prices can be reduced and nobody be without coverage.

• -Reduced cost for remittance of money sent to Mexico. Etc.

Después de haber leido sobre Barack Obama, haber escuchado no solo sus discursos sino las opiniones que tienen personas preparadas y con valores de importancia para la comunidad hispana como el gobernador del estado de Nuevo Mexico, Bill Richards (de madre Mexicana y padre Nicaraguense) el cual apoya, admira y esta promoviendo el que se elija a Obama como presidente; estoy convencida de que su capacidad de escuchar las opiniones de los expertos y los necesitados y después forjarse una opinión para crear nuevas ideas, es por la que el puede llevar al país a la prosperidad y unión Nacional así como a la paz global.

After having read about Obama and heard not only his speeches but the opinions people that know him and admire him, like governor Bill Richardson (Mexican mother Nicaraguan father) who supports, admires and is promoting his being elected, I am convinced that his ability to listen to other people whether they are experts in their field or people in need is an essential quality that I admire and that will help him create his vision for the country lading it to prosperity National unification and global peace.
